  • Vinyl printing is a generic term covering a vast variety of printing applications. Also, the word ‘vinyl’ is also to refer to a wide range of media in the wide format printing industry.

POSTER & PANEL

  • A Poster is a print of notice or picture that you stick on a board or wall.
  • In Museums, it is most commonly used as advertising posters, event announcements, museum highlighters and special exhibit display.
  • It is the key display system which attracts visitors and encourage them to visit a particular section or an event.

BACKLIT GRAPHICS

Backlit Graphics utilizes a light source from behind the graphic to shine through the material and ink to make the printing illuminate. Specifically designed for low-light or nighttime exterior and interior advertisements, translites are naturally eye-catching. Given the nature of the illuminated display, a quality translite printing job must be vibrant to the point of being oversaturated with color. This process is to prevent the image from looking dull or washed out when finally displayed.

Translite graphic printing is commonly seen in public advertising and branding efforts. Common applications include:

Point-of-Purchase Retail Environments in the museums

Event announcements

Feature exhibit promotion

Backlit Posters

Directional signages

Translites are affected by a host of factors, including surface printing. Graphics printed on clear materials can be printed on the front or back of the material, also known as 1st surface (front) and 2nd surface (back) which changes the effect of the illumination. How translucent a white material is – or how much whiteness it still retains after being backlit- can also impact illumination effectiveness. As an example, there are many shades of white acrylic designed to dissipate the light differently which show the printed colors differently. In addition, advertisers and other users need to keep in mind that distance matters. Light from the source needs some distance to spread properly and illuminate the translite. Positioning the source too close to the back of the image can create a hot spot, reducing effectiveness and potentially damaging the signage. Lighting the graphic from the edge of the material is also possible, but this procedure is material-dependent and requires expertise.

Suitable for advertisements, retail displays, POP and event graphics in illuminated backlit light boxes. We also offer our printing services for reverse print translucent polyester film for backlit light box display graphics. The film’s ultra-white diffusing layer accepts print onto the matte side for a glossy finish. After printing your backlit posters they can be sealed with a gloss laminate to protect them from scratching when loading into display units.

GLASS PRINTS

  • Advances in window film technology mean it is now widely used as a decorative solution, as well as providing a range of functional uses. By digitally printing onto window films, it is possible to create eye-catching displays, bringing an extra dimension to your windows and other surfaces.

  • While visiting museums, most people will not be able to immediately grasp the layout of your building and grounds. With multiple entrances and exits as well as potentially several car parks, it is important for developers to ensure that the site is sufficiently signposted and clear directions are provided where possible.
  • As it may not always be possible to find a museum staff member for guidance, it is within the responsibility of the institution to make sure that health and safety regulations are met to prevent easily avoidable accidents. Additionally, if you are targeting a particular audience, you may want to consider a completely custom signage system so that you adhere to your branding of choice.

As retailers endeavor to elevate their brands and enhance in-store spaces while remaining budget-conscious, many have turned to digitally printed fabric textiles as a choice signage solution. A modern marvel of materials, fabric can now be printed with HP Latex machines for faster deliveries instead of going for Dye-Sublimation technology which requires additional time to sublimate printed graphic paper on the fabric.

Our Durable Fabric range offers retailers consistently vibrant, color-saturated, and high-quality print, as well as a host of cost-saving advantages over traditional rigid materials.

Fabric signage is:

  • Flexible and lightweight, allowing for efficient storage and reduced freight cost
  • Quick and easy to install—no professional help required
  • Durable, resilient, and long-lasting
  • Produced at virtually any size
  • Composed of green, recyclable materials
  • An additional and major benefit of fabric signage is its wide versatility, allowing for use across a variety of creative applications.

Effective and Informative Graphics tend to get noticed when done well. People see these high quality graphics and use them to get information which will last for a longer time in their mind. Every one notices a bad quality print but will ignore at the first look.

Colorful Graphics set a tone. They can give a museum or other business an identity. Consequently, it’s important to take a museum’s brand or image into consideration when designing graphics.

The essential elements for Museum Graphics include:

COLORS

Colors can evoke emotions, so it’s important to consider whether the museum’s brand image is subtle and sophisticated, bold and playful, or something in between. Colors, along with designs and textures, can be used to designate different sections of a gallery or levels of a building.

TYPOGRAPHY

Museum signage should be legible without much effort on the part of the visitor. This means that typography should be clean and simple to avoid confusion and large enough to be read from a distance. Museum visitors are often absorbing information on signs while on the move, so messages should be relayed as clearly and quickly as possible.
